A six-point victory in a governor's race — built from scratch

A sitting governor needed more than a reelection campaign. She needed a statewide operation that didn't exist yet. We designed and built the entire coordinated campaign structure through a new statewide PAC — hiring and managing 40+ staff across the state, aligning labor unions, choice leaders, and communities of color into one disciplined operation, and launching the state's first-ever large-scale GOTV text program. On election night, it wasn't close.

85% of a state's voters contacted in 10 days

Ten days before a critical general election, we brought together multiple PACs, every active ballot measure campaign, and the statewide coordinated campaign into a single unified GOTV push. One plan. One timeline. One voice. More than 2,500 volunteers mobilized across 11 field offices statewide — and reached 85% of the state's voters before the polls closed.

Electing the first majority-Latinx school board in a major district

In a district where nearly half of all students are Latino/a/x, there had never been a single Latinx school board member. We advised the coalition that recruited and backed four candidates, worked with our client partners to build a bilingual voter outreach operation that nearly doubled Latinx voter participation, and pushed overall turnout from ~20% to nearly 28%. All four candidates won — creating the district's first-ever majority-Latinx board and fundamentally changing who has a voice in decisions about kids' education.

Winning overtime protections for 90,000 farmworkers

For 84 years, farmworkers — many of them Mexican immigrants and Latino families — were excluded from basic overtime protections under federal law. We partnered with the state's largest farmworker advocacy organization to build the narrative strategy and public pressure campaign that changed that. The legislature passed the overtime law. It now covers more than 90,000 workers across a $5 billion agricultural industry. The opposition is still trying to roll it back. It's still the law.

84 years of exclusion. One campaign. 90,000 workers protected.


An unlikely coalition passes billions in education funding

Labor leaders and business executives almost never agree on anything — especially funding. We led the strategy and coalition alignment that held both sides together around a single education investment proposal. The result: passage of the Student Success Act, the largest investment in Oregon public school history, creating a national model for accountable education funding. The coalition didn't just survive the campaign. It held.
